I thought the Barbie movie poked fun at Progressive-ism in a fun and ironic way, I mean how could you treat it as a serious movie?

Ha -- great point. I'll rewatch it and have a laugh.

"The paper of record"? The NYT is the Nation's Foremost College Newspaper.

I was wondering to myself yesterday whether Hollywood even made shows and movies anymore like the ones you listed (Dead Poet's Society, Schindler's List, etc). It's been a few years since I've really followed what's being released because the fire hose (great metaphor) of ideological messaging is just so disenchanting and tiresome. But I decided to revisit Gilmore Girls today, very glad that I did.

Happy to hear about Gilmore Girls. I wonder how many of the movies made over the last 10 years will be loved by viewers 20 years from now.

Yes! Are there any which you believe may have that staying power?

Seriously? That’s what you want? Movies with rights-wing messaging instead of leftist rhetoric or no political overtones at all? It’s not like you don’t have Kevin Sorbo out there doing the heavy lifting.

I want well-made movies from many points of view
